 SmileBand Usage 

Latest Version: v1.0

 About  

SmileBand offers you free unlimited internet access with Smile 4G/LTE.
You do not need a subscription, for this to work.

All you need is a Smile modem/router (4G/LTE) alongside SmileBand.

PC usage 

You need a 32-bit version of JRE installed for this to work. Doesn't matter if your PC is 64-bit. Download from link

Donwload SmileBand [For PC] [Proxy + VPN] [32-bit]: Installer || ZIP

Donwload SmileBand [For PC] [Proxy + VPN] [64-bit]: Installer || ZIP

Disable your antivirus and Windows Firewall before proceeding.

Launch SmileBand. Insert account details under settings. Then Start Proxy. 

Once the server communication shows successful, set your browsers to use IP 127.0.0.1 and port 8080, and you can start your browsing unlimitedly immediately
If you get a Network Problem message, disconnect/reconnect your modem and try again. Keep doing this till it's successful.

Optional 

Then switch to the VPN tab, and Connect. Wait till the status changes to CONNECTED. 

For full speed, leave your browser/IDM settings at 127.0.0.1 and port 8080. 

You can either stick to theproxy settings, or use no proxy. 

No proxy gives less speed, but supports all protocols. 

Both No Proxyand Proxy settings can be used at the same time for different apps.

Mac OS X PC usage 

You need Java installed on your Mac for this to work. Download from - Java Download

After downloading, proceed with installation.
Once installation is complete, 

download SmileBand for Mac - SmileBand for Mac

After downloading SmileBand, double-click to extract the zip file, 

then open the SmileBandMac folder, then open the drivers folder.

Launch the file - tuntap_20150118.pkg by double-clicking. 

Then proceed with installing and once installation is complete, 

launch SmileBand from the SmileBandMac folder, 

fill in account details under Settings, thenStart Proxy, and Connect the VPN.
Once the VPN status changes to CONNECTED, you can immediately start browsing unlimitedly.

Optional 

For faster speed, set your network to use proxy settings, 

with address 127.0.0.1, and port 8080.
To do this, navigate to Network Preferences -> Advanced -> Proxies. 

Then tick each of Web Proxy (HTTP), Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS), and FTP Proxy

Entering 127.0.0.1 as Web Proxy Server, and 8080 in the port box directly beside it.

Android usage

Donwload SmileDroid [For Android]: SmileDroid.apk

After installing, launch EDroid, insert your account details, 

then connect to your Smile Wifi Router, and click Log In

Once logged in successfully, Go to Wi-fi, 

Under your Android Settings, then long-press the Smile Wifi connection. 

Choose modify network config, then tick show advanced options. 

Change proxy mode to manual, and enter 127.0.0.1 as proxy hostname and proxy port 8080. 

Leave everything else as default and save. Then try surfing with your apps..

Once logged in successfully, set your Access Point (APN) to use IP 127.0.0.1 and port 8080, underMobile Networks in Android Settings.

Not all apps will work with this, especially chat/social-networking apps. Here's where ProxyDroidcomes in.

Download from ProxyDroid.apk.

Start ProxyDroid, and fill in these details, only:

• Host: 127.0.0.1
• Port: 8080
• Proxy Type: HTTP

Click the Individual Proxy selection, under Feature Settings, and select apps that aren't connecting, normally, (e.g WhatsApp, BBM) through the steps listed above.
After selection, toggle the Proxy Switch button at the top to ON
Then try to use those apps again OR simply Download AUTOPROXY from the playstore and input the above details.
